The February Lust List

Ah February, the month of love and romance. Champagne, flowers and heart shaped everything's line the shelves. Even when I was single I quite enjoyed celebrating Valentine's Day. Sending a card to a girlfriend, or spending time with a fellow single friend and having a nice meal together. After all, it's a celebration of love, and we all have that in our lives in some way or another, and I think the key to finding love is to feel postive about it! This year I will spending the day itself with a friend and then seeing my boyfriend at the weekend. I am hoping to bake him some romantic treats! Here are some goodies to put some romance into your baking....

Red Heart Cupcake Wrappers
Just Bake £5.95
These wrappers are just gorgeous. So intricate and detailed. They will make your Valentine's cupcakes look extra pretty!

Surely the ultimate heart shaped cake pan? I only used my first bundt pan a couple of weeks ago, but I was really pleased with the effect and would like to get a more intricate pan next.

A different heart shape for your every romantic whim, and at a bargain price too! Biscuits are a simple and tasty way to treat your loved one, or to make for friends and family. You can personalise them too with messages in icing.

Edible Hot Pink Rose Petals

What says romance more than a sprinkling of rose petals? And you can eat these ones too! They would make a fantastic surprise edible garnish for cakes, beds or a glass of champagne. Also available in five other colours.

  1. Some great items - recently had a cake which had a sprinkling of rosé petals on top of a thin meringue layer. Bit too much for me, but I can see why rose would be lovely if used in the right way. Especially this time of year. :)
